We are pioneers in the organization of hackathons in Mexico. Since 2012 we have organized or collaborated in more than 20 hackathons, challenges, data expeditions among others, including:
- OECD | Hackathon @ OECD Ministerial Meeting on Digital Economy. Cancún, México 2016.
- Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) | Data expedition focused on identity & birth registration, Mexico City 2016.
- Cisco | DevNet Hackathon @ Cisco Live. Cancún, México 2015.
- Intel | Intel IoT Roadshow México, Guadalajara 2015.
- NASA | Space Apps Challenge. Mexico city, 2013-2016.
- Mexico Federal Government | In 2013 we co-organized together the first open data hackathon in Mexico, which eventually resulted in the open data portal http://datos.gob.mx
We combine the event organization capabilities of an agency, with the reach and connections of a local media. This enables us to organize successful events with high engagement at a low cost. We also have legal presence in Mexico & the USA., and our staff is bilingual and used to remote collaboration.
